After winning two in a row the beginnig of March there was a loss and then a streak again. Silver Style led every step of the way in a maiden allowance race at Santa Anita Friday and got nipped at 24-1 by the 3-5 favorite. That was followed up by a very nice 2nd place finish by multiple stakes winning Backbackbackgone as he ran down the hill to finish a strong 2nd in his first race in 8 months. At Philadelphia Park The Final Roar won easily in the slop today and should be followed up by a similar performance from Big Mahogany at Philadelphia Park tomorrow. Also on the slate tomorrow is Lt. Marino at Turf Paradise. |
