Southern Pacific started the week off at Beulah Park romping home by a dozen lengths for Doug O'Neil and the Gerson Racing crew . Saturday Lt. Marino wired the field at Turf Paradise to notch an easy victory for trainer Nail Knapp. Next up was The Final Roar who was making his last start before heading back to Philadelphia Park. The Final Roar was not well ridden in his last start but was unlucky in has last couple of starts. He has been busy as he has raced % times in as many weeks. This was a field he should have been able to handle except for the Mullins trainee that is dropping in from $32,000 level claimers. Looks like Mullins knew what he was doing as his horse came from off the heated pace and won easily as The Final Roar tired to 4th, beaten 1 1/2 lengths. We live to run another day and on a better surface......
Next up for Gerson Racing will be races for : Silver Style |
